South Jakarta Satpol PP Prepares for MGMAC-AMF

Hundreds of South Jakarta Satpol PP personnel took part in a preparedness ceremony ahead of the ASEAN Summit at the local mayor's office.

Hopefully, all the personnel on duty can work together well during the activity

South Jakarta Deputy Mayor, Edi Sumantri insteucted Satpol PP and other related elements to work together for overseeing the Mayors and Governors Meeting of ASEAN Capital (MGMAC) and ASEAN Mayors Forum (AMF) on August 1-2, 2023.

"From the provincial level, they have also inspected locations in South Jakarta that will be visited by chairmen or delegates from various ASEAN countries," he expressed, Friday (7/28).

In South Jakarta, the chairmen or delegates from ASEAN countries would visit the ASEAN Park on Jalan Pattimura, Kebayoran Baru.

"Hopefully, all the personnel on duty can work together well during the activity," he exclaimed.

South Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Nanto Dwi Subekti added, in supporting the implementation of MGMAC and AMF activities, his party would deploy 114 personnel who are on standby starting from July 31 to August 4, 2023.

Those personnel would be alerted in 19 security posts spread from Jalan Sudirman-MH Thamrin to Jalan MT Haryono. Not only that, they were also completed with Rapid Reaction Unit (URC) vehicles ready to guard the crossings of the ASEAN delegations.

"Those on duty in the field must understand what their duties and authorities are," he stated.
